"I purchased this to help with my age-related melasma, and so far all good. I've only been using it for a few weeks, so can't speak to effectiveness yet, but it is fairly gentle and doesn't hurt to add to your routine. Despite it being a moisturizer, I still found it a little drying when used daily/exclusively, so I now use it every other day instead and often add another moisturizer on top.
