I could imagine the texture would be a drawback for some if they are looking for something that’s lighter and soaks in. There is a cooling sensation that is very satisfying after retinol application. Since it’s pigmented, it does force me to remember to wash my face first thing in the morning (I wake up a little green with this and the yellow retinol) which I don’t have a good habit of but appreciate.
