Jeju Lotus Leaf Oil Serum

Not-too-light and not-too-heavy
Is your skin being finicky or reactive? Is it hard to get that glowing radiance? Do you have rough spots or unrefined texture? Your skin could be imbalanced and lacking the right combination of lipids and nourishment. This oil serum has a beautiful camellia seed oil base followed by a concentrated amount of white lotus leaf extract which is then further boosted by soothing and nourishing botanical extracts. The result is a perfectly balanced dosage of all the right oils and nourishment to help form a protective lipid barrier on skin that keeps moisture in better, that prevents breakouts, and that leads to bouncier, firmer skin. The bottom line? That ultimate lit-from-within glow that comes from truly well balanced, happy skin.

    How to Use
Apply to clean, dry skin. In a Korean beauty routine, we recommend applying after cleansing, toning, applying an essence, then this oil-serum. Esthetician tip: when using oils, serums and ampoules, we do generally recommend thinnest to thickest texture, but you can have fun with them and use in the order your skin loves most. You can also mix this in with another serum or moisturizer. Seal all in with a moisturizer. In the summer, this nourishing oil-serum may be sufficient as your last step!

Before applying, shake well to mix the oil and serum together. Esthetician note: this oil-serum is intentionally unmixed in the bottle to be excellent for even sensitive skin types as it excludes any harsher chemicals that will keep the oil and serum blended on its own. We think it’s clever to keep them separate for a gentler formula.

Facial oils are a tricky product to curate because the sum of the parts always have to be greater than the individual parts. When we test oils, sometimes the ingredient list reads beautifully, but upon application the oil simply doesn’t absorb or feel great on skin. Or conversely, the oil might be a bit too fast-absorbing not leaving skin with enough support. We love that this oil-serum is not-too-light and not-too-heavy, and truly sinks in but also doesn’t just disappear. The oil-serum comforts and embraces skin in a soothing and protective way. Those of us with dry or normal skin loved this oil-serum the most for the way it instantly left skin so hydrated, supple and comforted like a soft sweater with just the right amount of comfortable, drapey cling.
