Step 12) The Exfoliator: Exfoliation is definitely an important part of skincare. Helping with skin turnover to keep skin from clogging, becoming dull and rough goes a long way. What Korean women stay away from are harsh exfoliators that harm the skin’s surface (microbeads unfortunately aren’t great) where micro-scratches, broken capillaries become common casualties. Peeling gels that are gentle or more fruit-based peels are great. Mizon has a fantastic Apple Smoothie Peeling Gel that I swear by. Another sneak preview, coming soon to our site in a couple weeks!

Jessica Alba, of course, looks great all the time. How she does it with 2 little girls is beyond me. We love it whenever she makes an appearance with those fab lashes. I love how her lashes look glam but not overdone.
Alicia's Beauty Haul from Seoul
I love Seoul for so many reasons, but to name a few, it’s hard not to be delighted with the streets splattered with cute cafes, amazing boutiques, and of course, the insane number of beauty stores everywhere.  I also love Seoul for the fun people-watching I get to do…specifically, observing the ladies who strut the streets of Garosugil, which is one of my favorite streets in all of Seoul. It’s a street that has historically bred a lot of aspiring fashion designers and is now littered with cute boutiques, restaurants, cafes, lounges and beauty stores!
